Respond to all incoming correspondence on assigned files including denial letters.Interact with policyholders, field adjusters and experts to resolve coverage issues.Handle claims toward resolution in a timely manner.Pay and process claims within designated authority levels.Review adjuster reports to ensure that claim file has sufficient documentation to justify all coverage and damage decisions.Adjust reserves to provide reserves recommendations to ensure that reserve activity is consistent with the NFIP program requirements.Examine and evaluate large loss claims investigated by field adjusters.Represent company as RCBAP and GP claims expert. The candidate will perform routine duties including but not limited to: Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products.Professional approach to successfully interact with clients.Excellent oral and written communications skills, diplomatic.Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.The candidate must possess the following competencies: Time and workload management must always be maintained along with productivity. They must work effectively and efficiently as a team as well as independently. The claims they work are usually at a higher level and involve Residential Condominium Association Policies (RCBAP) and General Property (GP) claims. Large Loss Claims Examiner's responsibilities are to examine, evaluate and process claims that are more complex in nature and that have been investigated by field adjusters and handle accordingly.
